Is it just me, or did he get really hot? Matt Damon landed in LA over the weekend with his lovely ladies, including wife Luciana and daughters Isabella & baby Gia. Call me biased for loving this Boston boy but I think we’d all agree Matt win’s the award for Hottest Dad! AMEN to fatherhood.
And how adorable is little Isabella? Then again, look at her mama 🙂 I can only hope my future children will be as cute.

Well, not quite yet but I’m still riding high from the Red Sox AMAZING win last night over Tampa Bay! My boys trailed 7-0 in the 7th inning and came back to win it in the 9th inning 8-7. And to think I almost went to bed.

So, because I’m so proud (and because I think we tend to forget that our athletes are celebrities in their own right) that will be the theme for today’s post.
On another sports related note, all of the buzz from the Olympics this past summer has kind of died down. So, I was really excited to see that Nastia Liukin was on TRL yesterday to show off her Wheaties box. The girl definitely deserves it!

Game 6 of the ALCS takes us back down to Tampa where the Red Sox trail 3-2. What do you guys think? Can the Red Sox go all the way?
Super sweet (and totally sarcastic, like me!) Julie Q over at The JQ Louge gave Better than Botox a shoutout over the weekend and asked me to share 6 things that make me happy. Keep in mind that this changes often, just ask the hubby. So here goes:
1. ANYTHING CHOCOLATE. Coat it in chocolate, serve it on the side, whateverrr. I love it all!

2. Boots. I’m currently looking for a cute pair of brown knee-high boots for Fall. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
3. Celebrity Gossip. This is really a no brainer, isn’t it? I love me a celebrity hot mess.
4. Bad Reality TV. Yes, I watch it all. And yes, I get made fun of for most of it. Some of my current favorites include The Hills, Project Runway, Amazing Race, Making the Band, America’s Next Top Model among others.

5. My family. [cue cheesy Oscar winning award music] Because without them, I would be nothing. This would also include my little cutie patootie, Lucy, our 1 yr. old silky terrier!
6. Last, but certainly not least, my husband. Let’s just say this little blogger can get a bit uptight and the hubs definitely helps to bring me back down. He’s my sanity and most importantly my best friend.

Aliens Tom Cruise happened, that’s what. Long gone are the days when Joey Potter Katie Holmes used to melt our hearts with her girl-next-door looks and sweet personality (not to say she’s not sweet anymore). Sure everyone’s allowed to grow and change, morph their style and look, but I just don’t get it. Maybe it’s because I totally don’t get her marriage to the Couch Jumper, who knows.

OK, I talk all the time about how fast celebrities seem to shed their baby weight, but this is still so unbelievable to me. She gave birth less than three months ago! Angelina looks so healthy and is definitely rocking a killer body – wayyy better than that skinny, frail frame she had pre-Knox & Viv.
Of course, Angelina was grilled on the red carpet about her post-pregnancy body which she attributed to chasing around 4 childern (under the age of 7 I might add) and breastfeeding. ‘Nough said.
So, do we love her or hate her for getting into shape so quickly?
So, I’m a pretty big fan of Project Runway. Come every summer, my life becomes whole again I receive a little piece of heaven on Wednesday nights. And this season is no different. The bitch fights, the words of wisdom from Tim Gunn, it’s all there.
OK. Here’s where I probably dig my own grave but I have to admit it to you, my faithful readers. I’m SO Team Kenley!

Yes, she’s whiny. Yes, she has an attitude. Yes, she’s self-centered. But let us not forget this is a competition, yes? She’s not there to make friends! The last two challenges, I have not liked her final product but the fact is she takes chances and delivers something that is truly “Kenley.” And you can’t take that away from her.

Who knows, maybe I just have a thing for the underdog. But, aside from maybe Korto, I don’t think anyone else left has what it takes to deliver a great show at Bryant Park. I will say that the attitude toward Heidi last night was a bit uncalled for and she needs to watch her defensiveness when she receives criticisms. “I wasn’t going for elegant, Heidiiiii” Wow.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz showed off her bun in the oven at LAX last night. She’s due any day now and baby will make three. Dad is rocker Pete Wentz.
