Initially, I was going to avoid talking about the whole Jessica Simpson “fat” situation. Personally, I think the media is making a big deal out of nothing. Let’s be honest, the outfit was horrendous and accentuated ALL the wrong areas. And, as I’ve pointed out before, Jessica’s been looking a little rough this past year or so.

But then I read this post on Perez Hilton which highlighted the fact that Jess is on three, count ‘em THREE, magazine covers this week. Hell, she’s even got President Obama talking about. And it occurred to me, maybe this whole thing isn’t so bad for the struggling singer. Press is press, right? Maybe it will help push that country CD of her’s off the shelves.

I think her and Jennifer Love Hewitt should be sent to a small island together so they can just blah blah blah to themselves and leave the rest of us alone!!!
