sealed the deal?

 

Sorry to my faithful readers for being MIA the last week or so. You know how it is, just not enough hours in the day – especially when your wedding is two months away! Anywho…

I did manage to find time to watch American Idol last night, where the contestants sang their favorite songs from the year they were born. A couple of my favs did a decent job, including Brooke White who sang “Every Breath You Take” (minus the “ut oh” in the beginning).

But, it was David Cook who really stole the show when he closed with his rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean.” Everyone LOVED it, including Simon, and it may have been the performance he needed to make it to the top 2. Who will join him is still up in the air for me but for last night, he definitely won my vote. Check it out:
