another one bites the dust

In today’s Idol recap: Gina Glocksen was given the boot on last night’s show. Though I wasn’t a huge fan of hers, the fact that her final song was “Smile” (with the lyrics: smile though your heart is breaking, smile even though its aching) as she sobbed would bring a tear to any cold soul.

And Sanjaya stays. She He wasn’t even in the bottom three!

On a way more important note: what was up with Michael Buble last night? He filled in for Tony Bennett who had a case of the flu and slurred through his entire performance. For a moment, I forgot he was American because it sounded like a really bad French rendition. Then, he cracked a joke about Antonella Barba. Show stealer! Check it out below.
