Sorry I’ve been MIA lately. T-minus 6 weeks until the wedding and, needless to say, I don’t have much “free time.” Anywho, I’ll try to get better. On to the gossip…
The buzz in Hollywood this morning are the new photos from Vanity Fairof 15 yr. old Miley Cyrus taken by famed photographer, Annie Leibovitz. In the photos, Miley is topless and covering herself with a satin sheet. No need to re-read the first sentence, she is INDEED 15 yrs. old (just recently, actually)! Now, normally, I’m a firm believer in the fact that you can’t blame every little thing a teenager does on his/her parents but the kicker here is: her parents were on set! And, let’s face it, they control every aspect of her career. This isn’t the first time scandalous photos have come out from the Disney star either.
I’ve said it before here on this very blog that I’d like a word with Miley’s stylist but this really pushes the envelope. Now that she’s in hot water with the press, hopefully Miss Miley will realize her reputation as a Disney star does not include lacey bras and satin sheets. But, you be the judge:

So, Jennifer Lopez stepped out on Sunday night with an alien her hubby Mark Anthony for the premiere of Shine a Light, a Rolling Stones documentary. And this is what she looked like:
Just a reminder: she gave birth to TWINS a month ago! She looks absolutely amazing. I love her hair pulled back like that and the toned-down makeup (for her, anyway). Being a new mama definitely suits Jennifer.

I did manage to find time to watch American Idol last night, where the contestants sang their favorite songs from the year they were born. A couple of my favs did a decent job, including Brooke White who sang “Every Breath You Take” (minus the “ut oh” in the beginning).
But, it was David Cook who really stole the show when he closed with his rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean.” Everyone LOVED it, including Simon, and it may have been the performance he needed to make it to the top 2. Who will join him is still up in the air for me but for last night, he definitely won my vote. Check it out:

No real shockers here - a handful went on to compete in Real World/Road Rules challenges, a couple found love on the show and got married, yadda-yadda. However, you MAY be surprised to hear that Stephen from Real World: Seattle was recently arrested for prostitution! I have a feeling he wasn’t playing the role of “pimp.”
How brilliant was Brooke White’s performance of “Let it Be” last night on American Idol? The piano, the bare feet, the nervous smile - it all worked! Check it out:
As far as the other contestants, I love Michael Johns and his rendition of “Across the Universe” last night was pretty good. David Archuleta, who I have LOVED thus far, bombed last night when he forgot the words to “We Can Work It Out.” Speaking of bombing performances, Kristy Lee Cook took a dangerous risk when she turned “8 Days a Week” into a hoe-down! A mistake that, I think, will send her home tonight. So, who are you voting for this time around?
No stranger to drama, Tori Spelling has come out with a scandalous new book “sTORI TELLING” that reveals all the dirt behind her days at 90210, the drama with mom Candy Spelling and her near bankruptcy. I guess we’ve got to give Tori some props. She’s gone beyond desperate to what some might call genius as she cashes in on her latest endevour: author. From what the critics are saying, it’s a good read. Think you’ll pick it up?
